Why it works
Empowering your skin biology
Six skin-native ingredients
Everything your skin needs. Nothing it doesn't
Glycerol
Skin-native humectant that restores gradient control of water movement, keeping hydration balanced at the cellular level.
Distilled Water
Clinical grade sterile water, protecting the potency and stability of every other ingredient.
Sodium hyaluronate (low MW)
A dual-molecular-weight layer that holds actives, slows water loss, and buffers against pollution.
Lactoferrin
Iron-chelating glycoprotein that regulates the skin microbiome and calms inflammatory redness.
LSP
Milk-derived proteins, peptides, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that restore & enhance skin function to improve appearance.
Trehalose
Stabilises skin proteins under stress and clears damaged cells through autophagy, supporting cellular renewal.
Unbeatable for sensitive skin
than water1
A new standard for skin. Unbeatable for sensitive skin.
Thanks to its ultra low toxicity and gentleness, The Biology Serum™ sets a new standard for the quality and purity of products we apply to our face every day.
It's designed to work with all skin. And for those with sensitive skin - there's no better product you can use: The Biology Serum™ is clinically proven 24% gentler than de-ionised water. Over time, its barrier-supporting skin-natives can also help make skin less sensitive in the first place.
From how we make it to what we put in it - we don't compromise and neither should you.
Independent Skin Irritancy Study. Maximum irritancy value on a scale of 0 to 3; irritancy threshold 1.5. Lower is gentler. Values follow.
1Independent clinical patch test (n=19) assessed by chromameter and double-blind visual erythema scoring, under human research ethics committee approval. Maximum irritancy value = mean visual score + 1 SD (0–3 scale); irritancy threshold 1.5. Data on file.
What our customers notice
Since using it my face has really settled down. It used to be quite red and patchy. I feel the product is really good at toning my skin down, evening it out, and also providing me with quite a bit of moisture.
If I could tell you how much money I have spent over the years on products and treatments and would continue to do to obtain optimal skin health and anti-aging I'm sure you wouldn't be surprised. Since using The Biology Serum™ I have noticed a considerable reduction in dryness and my skin feels a lot smoother and more supple! Quite remarkable as I would normally re-apply my moisturiser 2-3 times a day, but I haven't applied any other moisturiser and my skin feels totally moisturised.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use other skincare products?
The Biology Serum™ is designed to replace a full skincare routine - and the longer you use it, the less your skin will need anything else.
For those who want to use it as part of a routine, it works beautifully as a hydrating, protective layer beneath makeup or any other products you enjoy - just know that your results might take longer, or feel less complete.
How long will it last me?
An order of 9 vials can last anywhere between 1 to 2 months, but this varies by use!
Each vial, once opened, must be discarded if not used within 10 days.
How much do I apply?
For optimal results, we recommend applying .5mL twice a day - but you can use and apply however much feels right. The side of the vial has graduations with mL markers, so you can see how much you're using.
It can take a few applications to get the hang of it, and find the amount that's right for your skin.
Can I travel with it?
You can travel with unopened vials.
How to apply?
To apply, either:
Unscrew vial cap and pour serum out into your hand to achieve the amount that feels right to you. Apply to your face. It may take some getting used to until you get the right amount each time.
OR
Unscrew the vial cap, press your index finger pad down over opening, and briefly invert vial upside down. There will be serum on your finger pad. Apply to your face, then repeat until satisfied with coverage
Ensure vial is returned to fridge after use.

Where do I keep my vials?
Because we make The Biology Serum™ fresh without preservatives, your vials need to be kept fresh in the fridge. Actevna® vial holders are designed to fit in a fridge door shelf.
